Donald C. Gregory M.D., Class of 1947

Dr. Gregory has been in private practice in the Hamburg OB/GYN group since 1962 and has delivered 5,000 babies. At Hamburg High School, he had varsity letters in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Tennis and was the second leading scorer on the 1946 undefeated Football Team. He went on to Williams College, graduating in 1951, and then completed his Medical Doctorate from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA in 1955. He completed an internship at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, PA and completed his OB/GYN Residency at Buffalo General Hospital in 1962. He served as a United States Medical Officer at Mure Island, California from 1956 to 1958. He served as Associate Professor at the University of Buffalo Medical School and for many years had done student physical exams for the Hamburg schools. He has been an active member in the local community serving as a member of the Hamburg Rotary Club, Community Center Board, and is currently serving on the Town Conservation Board and the Hamburg Counseling Center.
