Kyle Pawlaczyk, Class of 2001

When Kyle graduated, he held six school records in Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track He was also the Section Champion in the 3200 three times. He won the event outdoors his sophomore and junior years. During his senior year he won the event indoors, but was injured late in the outdoor season. Kyle’s school records included: the Steeple-Chase, and 3200 outdoors; the cross country school and course records; and Indoors the 3200, 1600, and the 1000. Kyle qualified for and competed at States in all three sports. His best finish was in the 3200 where he took 2nd Indoors his senior year. Kyle also took 2nd in the same event at the Eastern States Champion-ship the same year. That year he also qualified to run at the prestigious Penn Relays by having a qualifying time among the top 16 entries to this national event. Other high school accomplishments include: four time ECIC First-team All-Star; MVP of Section VI Indoor Championship meet; bronze medalist at the Empire State Games, and Outstanding Scholastic Stu-dent Athlete in 2001. Kyle has degrees in Kinesiology, Health and Physical Education from William and Mary College and the University of Virginia. At William and Mary he competed all four years and was All-Conference in the 10,000 meters. Kyle is a professional triathlete competing and coaching for Endorphin Fitness. In the 70.3 triathlon he has had many top 10 finishes and made it to the podium several times.
