Linda Wilson
Class of 1983 – Linda Wilson was a star the minute she took the court for the Hamburg varsity basketball as a freshman, earning Division I-All-Star e status for the center position. She went on to hold that honor for the next three years of her high school basketball career. Miss Wilson wasn’t a one- sport star, as she was named a 1st ECIC-All-Star in four different sports while playing for the purple and white. Miss Wilson was part of the 1981 undefeated Sectional champion Hamburg field hockey team, and was the Director’s Key winner in Field Hockey and Basketball. After graduating from Hamburg, Miss Wilson went to Monmouth College (New Jersey) on a basketball scholarship. While at Monmouth she left a last impression, holding the all-time career record for Women’s Basketball: points (1,947), rebounds (1,360), blocked shots (339) and field goals made (815). Linda became a Buffalo Police Officer.
