Paul Rich

Class of 1977 – Paul Rich was a dominant athlete who excelled in three different sports while at Hamburg. Mr. Rich was instrumental in two Hamburg championship teams, an end on the 8-1 Division I football team, and the leading scorer on the 16-2 Division I basketball. In 1997, Mr. Rich went 3 for 3 in gaining All-Star status, earning 2nd Team AU-Star for football, 1st Team All-Star for Basketball, and 1st team All-Star for a new sport at Hamburg at that time, which is now one of the most successful programs, lacrosse. After graduating from Hamburg, Mr. Rich went on to play basketball at Geneseo, where he was a 2-time All SUNYAC-First Team All-Star for the 1979-80 and 1980-1981 seasons. Mr. Rich was inducted into the Geneseo Sports Hall of Fame in 1996. Mr. Rich went on to become Vice President of National Accounts-Rich Products.
